Synopsis by Connor McMadden
This short film is a profile of the Gaelic-speaking poet-actor-singer-songwriter Tomás "Jimmy" Mac Eoin, whose lifelong work celebrates the landscape and the people of Conamara, a region of Ireland made famous by The Quiet Man. Through interviews with friends and family members, Tomás' work is discussed within the context of his battles with ill health and personal problems which have challenged his creativity. Affectionately executed, the film does an excellent job of bringing to a wider audience the accomplishments of provincial artist.
