Under the city of Tokyo is a vast, secret, and confined place simply called Underground. Here, people with elemental powers of fire, wind, magnetism, and more, dwell without the knowledge of the world above. One such powerful resident of Underground escapes, however: Ruri, who is also known as the Maiden of Life, makes it out of Underground with the help of a friend called Chelsea. They stumble upon a man named Asagi who is taken with Ruri and swears to protect her. He doesn't know what he's getting into with this promise, however, because secret agents from Underground are pursuing Ruri. Now, Asagi and his friends, who were normal high-school students only yesterday, are teaming up with users of elemental powers for the fight of their lives and maybe the fate of the world.
