Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Violet Mersereau plays two roles throughout this film -- nothing that unusual, except that the twins she plays are a boy and a girl. In addition, she does a brief bit as the twin's mother. Laura Stanhope (Mersereau) grew up in a broken home -- her parents separated when she was very young, and her father took her brother Larry (Mersereau again). Larry struck out on his own and led a life of crime, while Laura went to boarding school. Now both parents are dead and the will stipulates that brother and sister must come together at a certain place on a certain day; otherwise, the estate will go to the will's executor, Andrew Brean (Bernard Randall). Brean, of course, wants the money, so he intends to keep the twins apart. Larry and his partner in crime, the Snail (Lindsay J. Hall), want to go straight, and when they get their hands on the will, they figure out that Brean is crooked. So Larry convinces Brean that he merely resembles Laura's brother and Brean thinks that using him is a great way to cheat the will. Everyone meets up at a barroom and in the ensuing free-for-all, Laura and Larry exchange clothes. Brean realizes his mistake and takes off. The twins are reunited, the Snail goes to work for them as a butler, and Laura settles down with her sweetheart Jim (Chester Barnett).
