Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A rural drug addict and a curious college freshman drop acid and explore a secluded site rumored to sit atop the gates of hell in this psychedelic shocker from Elijah Wood's Spectrevision and writer/director Jason Banker. James (James Davidson) spends most of his time getting into narcotics-fueled mischief with friends until the day he meets Sara (Sara Anne Jones), a sheltered teen enjoying the newfound freedom of her higher education. Sara has heard about Toad Road -- a forested area with an infernal secret -- and convinces James to take her there. After taking some LSD, James and Sara set out on their journey. They're separated just as the drug takes hold, and later, when James regains consciousness half-naked in the snow, he learns that six months have actually passed. Sara has vanished without a trace, and James is now a key suspect in her disappearance. Meanwhile, as James struggles to piece together the mystery of that fateful day, it becomes increasingly clear that sinister forces are at work.
