Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

An actor, dressed as Marshall Tito walks along the streets of Belgrade chatting with passerby about politics in this fascinating Serbian documentary. The film opens with archival footage of the heyday of Tito's communist dictatorship (1953-80). Hawaiian music plays on the soundtrack. Then film moves to the present day where radio comic Dragoljub Ljubici is seen dressed in an official uniform walking the streets. He tells his elderly chauffeur (also an actor) that he has come back to solicit the views of the public and to learn what has transpired in his country since he passed on. The chauffeur dryly remarks,"It fell apart." Interestingly, people readily share their feelings to "Tito." While some are glad he's gone, and blame him for the current mess, others miss his iron hand running their lives. Many replies are cynical, and one soldier sums it up nicely after describing war horrors he's witnessed. Says the soldier to the dictator: "There's no man big enough to bring it to an end." Tito agrees stating that the people are not of one mind.
