Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this tearful melodrama, a gypsy youth runs away from home and ends up in a mining town where he is taught basic literacy and begins making friends with the miners. For the first time, the lad is happy. Unfortunately, a theft occurs in town and the miners immediately accuse him. The frightened boy flees and almost drowns until his friends come to save him. They then invite him back to their little town.
