Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A breakup turns from tragedy to triumph for a listless Chilean insomniac in directors Francisca Schweitzer and Pablo Solís' study of the fleeting friendships that can change our lives. Camilo (Francisco Pérez-Bannen) is a slacker content to working the night shift at a local video store, supplementing his income with the monthly allowance he receives from his parents, and haunting nearby record stores during the day. When Camilo's successful girlfriend, Pola (Sigrid Alegría), suggests that the pair spend some time apart, Camilo's life is thrown into chaos and not even his best friend, Gus (Luis Gnecco), can shake him out of his deepening depression. When the lovely and vivacious Mikela (Carolina Castro) mysteriously appears in Camilo's life as if by some divine will, an impromptu trip to Santiago with his new friend lifts Camilo's spirits and gives him a new lease on life.
