Mark Kingston starred in this British series as Ken Archer, who after 33 years at the same job was designated as "redundant" and sent home packing. On the same day of his sacking, Ken found out that his wife Joan (Amanda Barrie) had left him for another man. Thereafter, things went from bad to worse to bloody awful as Ken was beaten up, kidnapped, and institutionalized. And this was a situation comedy! The six episodes of Time of My Life were aired by the BBC from March 18 to April 22, 1980.
