Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Chow Yun-Fat refused to appear in this name-only sequel to the 1988 work. This time around, Lam Yick-lin (Danny Lee Sau-yin) is a harried Hong Kong cop whose life gets considerably more complicated when he puts up his American-born cousin Buffalo (Conan Lee Yeun-ba), whose parents are desperate that he marry a nice Chinese girl. Instead, Buffalo falls for a mysterious thief named Sweet Dream (Ellen Chan Ar-lun) who is wanted by a ruthless mobster named Fai. Not only did Sweet Dream bear witness to a brutal gangland murder of a foreign drug dealer, she also swiped Fai's money in the ensuing melee. When Sweet Dream's continual claims of imminent danger don't pan out, Buffalo and Lam start to think that she's a crank. That is until they are jumped outside of a disco by a couple of Fai's thugs. When Fai kidnaps Dream, Buffalo decides to attack the gangster's hideout Rambo style.
