Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Jeff Lau Chun-wai spins this grim police thriller, which, in spite of its title, has no discernible connection with its predecessor. Fong Ngoinam (Sandra Ng Kwan-yu) is a policewoman so obsessed with capturing notorious gangster Feitsat (Shing Fui-on) that she inadvertently sabotages a police sting operation. Soon afterwards, the informant who was snitching on Fong and a couple cops are found dead. Ngoinam finds herself slapped with a drug charge by her dark-hearted boss (Jeff Lau) who is looking for revenge after her father busted him for corruption, destroying his career. With the help of a couple friends in the force, Ngoinam goes on the lam and ironically learns that her only hope at clearing herself lies in Feitsat's brother, Sui Yien (Stephen Chiau Sing-chi).
