Synopsis by Hal Erickson
When the British panel show Through the Keyhole made its ITV bow in 1983, its host was the erudite David Frost. Each episode consisted of a "prowl" through the houses of famous people. It was up to the three-person celebrity panel to guess whose house was being explored. After completing its ITV run, Through the Keyhole was revived by Britain's Sky One satellite service, returning to "terrestrial" TV courtesy of the BBC in the late 1990s.
