Simon Aeby made his directorial debut with this Swiss drama. When a door blows shut, three people are trapped in the basement laundry room of a New York apartment building -- Julian (Wes Bentley), Moriat (Kate Walsh), and older Nora (Judith Roberts) -- and their attitudes and arguments lead to emotional revelations. Shown at the 1998 Locarno Film Festival.
