Filmmaker Phillip Rizk documents the everyday struggle waged by Palestinians to resist the Israeli occupation of their land. When Israel was established in 1948, hundreds of thousands of native Palestinians were uprooted from the land they had occupied for centuries. Over half-a-century later, the Palestinian people remain refuges on their own soil. This is the story of those who choose to resist the Israeli settlers though sumoud - perseverance and non-violent resistance in the face of a formidable threat.
