The title of this British sitcom referred to the quicksilver marital state of George Hutchenson (Derek Nimmo) and Beth Jenkins (Nerys Hughes). Having once been husband and wife, George and Beth were divorced, whereupon they married other people. Then both hero and heroine were single again, and thus tried to pick up where they left off -- much to the dismay of various friends, relatives, and offspring. Third Time Lucky was carried by ITV's Yorkshire Television service for seven weeks, from August 6 to September 17, 1982.
