Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This British sketch-comedy series was originally conceived by the great Spike Milligan as the tenth seasonal version of his long-running program Q. Since the previous editions of this project bore such titles as Q3, Q4, and Q5, Milligan logically offered it to BBC as Q10. Reportedly, the network rejected this title, complaining that it sounded too much like Milligan's earlier programs (which, of course, was his intention). Mocking the BBC's decision, Milligan rechristened the series as There's a Lot of It About. Otherwise, it was Q all over again, with writer-star Milligan and a talented team of supporting comedians cutting it up royally in a parade of non sequitur skits and monologues. The six episodes of There's a Lot of It About were shown from September 20 to October 25, 1982.
