Set in post-Soviet Kazakhstan in the mid-1990s, this drama follows the lives of four teenagers struggling to find a purpose in a country ravaged by economic depression. Each of the boys has a talent that could lead to intriguing career prospects in other parts of the world, but they have the misfortune of living in a country that has been pushed to the brink of desolation by the end of the Soviet era.
