This video is part three in the 26-volume World at War series that chronicles the history of World War II. These historic television broadcasts originally appeared on Sunday evenings in 1974. This episode follows the advance of Hitler's army into France in May and June of 1940, and its frightening march into Paris. England stood alone in Europe against the German army. Meanwhile, Russian troops were occupying Poland and the Balkan states.
