Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

An ambitious young entrepreneur attempts to cash in on the television craze as World War II draws to a close in this drama from director John Connor. As the bombs stop falling and peace returns to a war-torn world, Kevin returns to his hometown in hopes of making his fortune. Upon seeing the startling effect that the first television on Osbourne Street has on the starry eyed small-town inhabitants, Kevin seeks to cash in on the craze by borrowing some cash from a local underworld figure and investing the savings of his lifelong pal into a new store called "Kevin's TV World." When the shop fails to generate revenue, Kevin's friends soon begin to turn on him and the local kingpin who financed a large part of his crumbling business begins to turn up the heat on the increasingly desperate entrepreneur.
