This 13-part series examines the most important developmental changes children experience between birth and the age of five so that caregivers can better meet their changing needs. This volume recommends different ways children can be taught to express and control their aggressive feelings. Special emphasis is placed on teaching them how to recognize when they are acting inappropriately. Host Dr. Joanne Hendrick, author of The Whole Child, is a professor emerita of Early Childhood at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. A panel of highly distinguished childhood education and child development experts contributed to the design and content of this program. The series was filmed in a variety of preschools, Head Start classrooms, and private homes being operated for childcare and schooling purposes.
