Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Minor mid-1910s star Fritzi Brunette leads the cast in this tale of love and revenge. Gianna (Brunette) and her brother, Russino (Eugene Corey), are training to become dancers when he becomes involved with a woman called Netta who is, in reality, the Countess Michetti (Carmen Phillips). Count Paul Trovilli (William Conklin) comes with his friend, Prince Viscomte (Wedgwood Nowell), to the seaside town where the siblings are training. The prince recognizes the Countess as a former lover and he gets in an argument with Russino and kills him. Gianna sees Trovilli hovering over her brother's dead body and, believing that he is the killer, swears revenge. Instead of murdering him then and there, she waits until she is a famous dancer and makes him fall in love with her -- then she plans to kill him. Fortunately for all concerned, the Countess reveals that Trovilli did not murder Russino, and Prince Viscomte meets his death on the battlefield. Gianna realizes she loves Trovilli, so the film ends happily.
