Peter Maloney hosted this two-episode British standup comedy series. The avowed purpose of The UK Show was to provide a forum for the contrasting comic styles of England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The talent lineup included such regional favorites as John Laurie, Chic Murray, Kenny Smiles, Barbara Windsor, Joe Brown, and James Ellis. The UK Show was beamed out by BBC1 on August 19 and 26, 1978.
