Synopsis by Hal Erickson

A German polka band stands along the waterfront, awaiting the return of their portly tuba player Schultz. After a short dockside concert, Schultz heads home, where is greeted by his yodeling daschhund. Schultz then starts practicing on his tuba, which wake up his neighbors Tom and Jerry (not the cat-and-mouse duo). Not in the least annoyed, the boys are delighted that Schultz is back in town, celebrating his return in a lively song and dance that soon has the entire neighborhood jumping and jiving (including a row of sausages!) When the cops arrive to break up the impromptu block party, they too fall under Schultz' musical spell. The musical score in this plotless but irresistable Van Beuren cartoon includes "Schultz is Back Again" and "Watch on the Rhine".
