Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Profoundly disturbed by the story of an Iranian student who committed suicide in Canada after successfully escaping the Shah, filmmaker and former Iranian political prisoner Masoud Raof gathers a small group of dissenters who were tortured by their government for taking part in the democratic movement in order to understand just why a man would choose death over a life of freedom.
