Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This routine comedy-drama starring Maurice B. Flynn -- better known as "Lefty" Flynn -- was based on The Kitten and the King by Gerald Beaumont. Joe Regan (Flynn) is a good-natured traffic cop who meets pretty Alicia Davidson (Kathleen Myers) at a seaside resort. He falls in love with the girl, and wins the approval of her father (James Marcus). The mother, Mrs. Davidson (Adele Farrington), is another matter altogether -- she's a socially ambitious snob who has a French tutor (Ray Ripley) and who wants Alicia to wed the fortune-hunting Harvey Phillips (Nigel Barrie). But then the day comes when the Davidsons find themselves in peril. They have loaded a group of children on a bus to take them picnicking, but the driver loses control. Regan chases after the bus in his own car and stops it before it can run over a cliff. Regan's impressive act proves to Mrs. Davidson that he is worthy of Alicia.
