Having become a major action star in the long-running railroad series The Hazards of Helen and starred in several serials with train themes, the indefatigable Helen Holmes produced and starred in The Tiger Band. Sadly the serial has not survived and neither has any plot descriptions but from chapter titles such as "Chang the Mighty," "The Flaming Peril," "The Masked Man," and "The Masked Man's Claw," it is fair to asume that Miss Holmes this time eschewed trains and the inevitable box-cars altogether. Handsome action lead Jack Mower played Helen's intrepid boyfriend, with Dwight Crittendon as her father and Omar Whitehead, Bert Hadley, William Brunton and Yukio Aoyama as the villains. The serial was released by newcomers, Warner Bros.
