This animated feature retells the story of Anthos, Aramis, and Porthos, a trio of French swordsmen and patriots who are determined to protect their nation and its leader, King Louis XIII, from the machinations of the devious Cardinal Richelieu. With the help of D'Artagnan, another able hand with a sword, they set off to defeat Richelieu and his men, who are pushing France to the brink of war.
