Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Much to the surprise of everyone in the newsroom, Ted and Georgette Baxter (Ted Knight and Georgia Engel) score an enormous hit as co-hosts of their own TV variety show. Reveling in his renewed popularity, Ted hopes that the show will go on forever. It never dawns on him that Georgette hates being in the public spotlight. "The Ted and Georgette Show" made its first network TV appearance on January 29, 1977.
