Synopsis by Janiss Garza

The trade paper Motion Picture News hailed this picture as proof that "kinetograph production can be made as pleasing and as entertaining and as notable as 'legitimate' stage productions." What they meant was that this three-reel comedy-drama didn't have a lot of fast-paced action and that its society situations took place primarily indoors. Jackie Bennett (Jackie Saunders) has three guardians -- all friends of her father (Bert Bracken), who was killed in a Mexican skirmish. Since the men were all in love with Jackie's mother before she married, they want to make sure the girl winds up with the right man. Naturally she becomes engaged to a scapegrace who becomes infatuated with a dancer (Madge Pardee). The men want Jackie to be happy, so they go about trying to show the young man the error of his ways. He finally comes to his senses, but by then Jackie has fallen in love with Edward Treavor (Joe Singleton), the youngest of the three guardians.
