Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Raymond Briggs' beloved animated short The Snowman gets a sequel that will warm hearts young and old during the chilly holiday season. With Christmas just around the corner, a young boy and his mother move into a new home. Excited after finding a snowman-making kit in his new bedroom, the young boy throws on his coat, and dashes outside to play in the snow. Before long he has built a friendly Snowman, and a loyal Snowdog to keep him company. Later, as dusk falls, something magical happens - the Snowman and his four-legged friend come to life, and sweep the boy away on a magical adventure. When the sun starts to rise it's time to go home, but not before the little boy gets one last surprise that will fill his heart with wonder as Christmas draws near.
