Having ascended to national TV stardom by way of the outrageous reality series The Osbournes, Sharon Osbourne, wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, went solo with this daily, hour-long syndicated talk show. Far less profane and certainly less dysfunctional than her earlier TV venture, Sharon's new series found her conversing with celebrities and everyday folks, keeping things light and lightweight while still occasionally touching upon the drug-and-booze aura that permeated The Osbournes. Just to make sure that the star's more hardcore fans were not disappointed, the series' regular feature "Under the Covers" found Sharon trying to persuade celebrities to share her bed -- albeit chastely, and in full view of the studio audience. Sharon Osbourne was syndicated by WB/Telepictures beginning the week of September 15, 2003.
