Another TV showcase for mustachioed British comedian Jimmy Edwards, The Seven Faces of Jim began its BBC run in 1961. Per its title, the series consisted of seven half-hour playlets, featuring Edwards in a different comic characterization each week. In 1962, the property resurfaced in a slightly abbreviated format (six episodes) as The Six Faces of Jim. Finally in 1963, Edwards struck again with Six More Faces of Jim, making 19 faces in all.
