Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Filmmaker William T. Still uses L. Frank Baum's Oz saga as a springboard to exploring the concept that the people of a nation should control its money, and not the banks. If we were to just create our own currency as a sovereign nation, argues Still, we could perhaps find our way out of the current financial crisis on our own terms, rather than becoming increasingly indebted to the powers that be.
