Synopsis by Cammila Collar
This documentary takes a look at the more substantial cultural movements of the 1970s, which were often obscured by the glitz and glamour of disco and glitter rock. From the Black Power movement to gay rights to the impacts of feminism, the '70s proved to be a dichotomy, and the film includes interviews featuring everyone from Village Voice columnist Michael Musto to disco icons Gloria Gaynor and Kool & the Gang.
