This Selig production bears no relation to the Western of the same name which was released only a couple of months earlier. It's an odd drama in which Ione, a society girl (Kathlyn Williams), decides she prefers rough, manly types instead of the gentlemen she normally encounters. As a result, she turns her nose up at Rutley, a businessman, but falls hard for Pascho, a vaudeville strong man (Wellington Playter). Pascho is already betrothed to Maritana, but he readily forgets about her and prepares to run off with Ione. Rutley shows up on Ione's doorstep to convince her to change her mind. The jealous Maritana shows up too and takes a shot at Pascho, but she hits the hapless Rutley instead. Maritana's passionate act reminds Pascho of what they had together, and he returns to her. Rutley recovers from the gunshot to find that Ione has decided she loves him after all.
