Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
In 1984 Connecticut, a working-class teen (Thomas Mann) is forced by his mother (Amy Hargreaves) to attend a prestigious prep school. Desperate to gain the acceptance of his wealthier peers, he uses his friendship with the son of a Colombian ambassador to establish a cocaine pipeline, and soon becomes the school's biggest drug dealer. Based on true events that caused a national scandal in the mid-'80s, The Preppie Connection was directed by Joseph Castelo and co-stars Logan Huffman, Lucy Fry, and Guillermo Arribas.
