Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
Kathleen Watkins reads the poetry of some of Ireland's greatest poets at various Irish locations. She reads from the works of such poets as William Butler Yeats, Brendan Kennelly, Patrick Kavanagh, Elizabeth Shane, Angela Green, Seamus Heaney, and Padriac Pearse. The poems read include In Memory of Mother by Kavanagh, Lake Isle of Innisfree and The Cloths of Heaven by Yeats, Kennelly's I See You Dancing, Father, and The Wayfarer by Pearse. Angela Green's poem The Terrorist's Wife, Elizabeth Shane's Wee Hughie, and Heaney's Mid-term Break are also featured.
