This cable-TV series was a vehicle for Britain's Sonya Fitzpatrick, who, at a very early age, discovered that she had the rare ability to communicate with animals. On each episode, host Fitzpatrick conversed with pet dogs, cats, and the like, sharing their innermost thoughts with their human masters, and even solving their problems. It helped a lot if the viewer was willing to indulge in a lot of suspension of disbelief, of course. Telecast on Mondays at eight p.m. eastern standard time, The Pet Psychic was an offering from (who else?) the Animal Planet network.
