Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Filmmaker Charlie Minn recounts the heartwarming act of sportsmanship that united two rival high school basketball teams in this inspirational documentary centering on Mitchell Marcus, a special needs student who achieved his lifelong dream with the help of his fellow students. A friendly face to around his close-knit community, Marcus became involved with high school sports as the senior manager of the Coronado High School basketball team. But Marcus' real goal - to take the court opposite Coronado's chief rivals at Franklin High School - would come through on February 12, 2013. It was senior night at Coronado High, and with just 90 seconds left in the game, Coach Peter Morales sent Marcus out onto the court. Though at first it seemed as if Marcus would fail to make the shot, an act of kindness from a Franklin athlete would result in a moment that seemed so picture perfect it could only happen in the movies.
