Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Among those who have joined an exploratory mission in space are Native American astrophysicist Callie Whitehorse Landau (Irene Bedard) and her husband Alec (Cameron Daddo). The vessel carrying Callie and Alec passes through a quantum hole and into a separate trans-space continuum just below the known universe. It turns out that the explorers have entered the universe's blood system -- and it is here that Callie makes a discovery which may determine the fate of all humankind. "In the Blood" was originally broadcast on July 6, 2001.
