Synopsis by Hal Erickson
To lay the groundwork for the earth's colonization of the planet Trion, the UFS Mercury is sent on an exploratory research mission. En route, the Mercury receives a distress call from its sister ship Rhesos, which had previously bombed Trion to clear the planet of its existing life forms, which had been classified as non-intelligent. Boarding the Rhesos, the Mercury crew is shocked to discover that the vessel is completely deserted -- or is it? "Manifest Destiny" was originally telecast on February 11, 2000.
