Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Season two of the "new" Outer Limits was launched on January 14, 1996, with the episode titled "A Stitch in Time." Michelle Forbes plays FBI agent Jamie Perrin, who is trying to connect the dots in a murder case spanning half a century. All 17 victims were killed by the same weapon -- which in some instances hadn't even been invented at the time of the killings. The trail leads to demented researcher Theresa Givens (Amanda Plummer), who is determined to stamp out all of the world's evil by murdering criminals before they can ever commit their first crime -- a mission that requires a unique and potentially dangerous form of time travel.
