Synopsis by Janiss Garza
The Night Patrol is a lesser vehicle for silent actor (Richard Talmadge). He plays Dick Bradley, an Irish policeman. Bradley is in love with a girl (Rose Blossom) whose brother (Gardner James) has fallen in with a gang of criminals. In fact, Bradley has arrested the youth for a murder. However, the cop comes to believe that the boy is innocent, and he disguises himself as a crook, the Frisco Kid, in order to uncover the real killer. He makes inroads into the gang and comes up with the real culprit just in time to save his girlfriend's brother from the electric chair. Talmadge had the opportunity for some nice stuntwork here, but his lack of ability as a dramatic actor undermines this heavy-handed story.
