Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter

This film is a psychological study of Adolf Hitler. Hitler was the ruler of Germany from 1933 to 1945. Rising to power under the ideological banner of National Socialism, or Nazism, his early popularity was based on economic reforms during the worldwide depression. But there was darker side to Hitler: his views on the "master race" of Aryan people was the springboard for the nightmare of totalitarianism and aggression inflicted upon the world. His drive for the expansion of the German empire caused the devastation of World War II, resulting in Germany's defeat, and the realignment of power on the globe. The film is a look at the factors and beliefs that went into making Hitler the creature that he was.
