Jack Holt stars as Ben Wade, a rancher framed on a robbery charge by crooked lawyer Harkness (Charles Sellon). The villain is in league with land-usurping millionaire Mark King (David Torrence), who intends to keep his neighboring ranchers at bay by hiring New York gangsters as his henchmen. Before King is successful in evicting every one of his neighbors from his property, his plans are confounded by a do-gooding "Mysterious Rider" -- who, of course, is Ben Wade in disguise. The hero's mission is complicated by his love for King's pretty daughter (Betty Jewel).
