Synopsis by Maggie Sadler

Scientist Augustine Lofthouse (George Clooney) finds himself stationed at a remote observation outpost deep in the Arctic when an apocalyptic event ravages the earth. Accompanied only by a young girl named Iris (Caoilinn Springall) in the wake of the cataclysm, Augustine strives to make contact with Sully Rembshire (Felicity Jones), an astronaut, to prevent her and her team from returning to Earth and becoming trapped by the post-apocalyptic reality.
