Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This independently made railroad melodrama featured a couple of the better supporting players of the silent era in lead roles. Alan Morse (Gaston Glass), a crook and a vagrant, comes upon a lonely train station. He plans to rob it until the agent Sam Foster (Sam Allen) has a paralytic stroke, which leaves his granddaughter, Mary (Wanda Hawley), helpless. Since Morse has fallen for the girl, he reforms and stays behind to help run the station. Since he was once a telegraph operator, he uses his skills at his new job. Morse's old crook pals attempt to steal a gold shipment, but he is able to put a halt to their plans. The crooks cut loose a car containing Mary and it heads for a collision with the Limited. Morse saves the day by blowing up a bridge, which averts disaster. The railroad officials laud him for his efforts, and he and Mary wind up together.
