Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Ted (Ted Knight) and Georgette (Georgia Engel) are upset when their adopted son, David (Robbie Rist), performs poorly at school. Things change dramatically when the Baxters find out that their son is merely bored; David, it seems, boasts a genius I.Q. It goes without saying that this makes David infinitely smarter than Ted -- and the boy wastes no time taking advantage of this. "My Son, the Genius" first aired on November 6, 1976.
