For a modest fee of 200 dollars, Murray (Gavin MacLeod) agrees to ghost-write a magazine article for Ted Baxter (Ted Knight). When the article is picked up by a major magazine, Murray agonizes over the fact that his own writing talents will go unheralded. But that's not nearly as galling as Ted's decision to cut Murray out of all future income from that article. "Murray Ghosts for Ted" was first broadcast on February 19, 1977.
