Synopsis by Hal Erickson
When one of his contemporaries wins a Pulitzer Prize, news writer Murray Slaughter (Gavin MacLeod) plunges into the depths of despair. Mary (Mary Tyler Moore) joins forces with the rest of the WJM-TV news team to convince Murray that life is not passing him by. But they'd better hurry, Murray's self-pitying depression is quickly becoming contagious. "Murray Faces Life" made its network broadcast debut on February 10, 1973.
