Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Over the objections of the "good ole boy" hierarchy at WJM-TV, Mary (Mary Tyler Moore) hires Olympic swimming champ B.J. Smathers (Caren Kaye) as an assistant sportscaster. Alas, B.J. proves to have miserable communication skills, refusing to discuss anything on the air that doesn't relate to water sports. So will Mary swallow her feminist pride and fire B.J., or will she go into full "stubborn" mode? "What's Wrong With Swimming?" first aired on October 16, 1976.
